Basketball is open to boys in grades 6 through 12.  Hickory Grove houses three basketball teams - Middle School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity which practice daily from November until March.  The varsity team competes for both a conference title within the Metrolina Athletic Conference (MAC) as well as competing for a state title as a member of the North Carolina Independent Athletic Association (NCISAA).

Student-athletes must have a current physical/parent permission form completed before participating in any tryouts or practices.  If you are not sure about your child’s status, please contact the Athletic Office at 704-531-3502 prior to the start of the athletic season.
